At MediCare Pharmacy Group, our pharmacists offer Travel Health consultations. Based on your travel plans and clinical needs, a personalised plan will be developed, which may include vaccinations, antimalarial treatment, and other travel medicines where suitable.

How does the MediCare Travel Health Service work?

You can book an appointment with one of our trained pharmacists at a time and location that suits you.

During your consultation:

  • We’ll ask about your destination, travel dates, accommodation, and planned activities.
  • You’ll be asked about your medical history, allergies, current medicines, and previous vaccinations.
  • Our pharmacist will use this information to advise on recommended vaccinations, malaria prevention, and other travel health treatments where appropriate.

All consultations take place face-to-face in a private room at your chosen MediCare Pharmacy.
