Our Period Delay Service offers a pharmacist consultation and, where appropriate, treatment to help you safely delay your period. Available for women aged 16 and over, this service is ideal if you need to delay your period for a holiday, wedding, exam or other important event.

How does the service work?

During your consultation, our pharmacist will ask about:

  • The reason for requesting treatment.
  • Your menstrual history.
  • Your medical history.
  • Any current medicines you are taking.

This information will be used to assess whether treatment is suitable for you.

Pricing

Norethisterone tablets are available at £1.00 per tablet.

To obtain treatment for period delay, you will need a consultation with one of our pharmacists. This can be provided as:

  • Travel Health Consultation – £40
  • Period Delay Consultation – £10

Please note that the cost of treatment is not included in the consultation fee and will be charged separately if appropriate.
