Our Period Delay Service provides a pharmacist assessment and, where appropriate, treatment for females aged 16 years and over who wish to delay their period for a particular occasion, such as a holiday, exam, wedding or other important event.

How does the service work?

During your consultation, our pharmacist will ask about:

  • The reason for requesting treatment.
  • Your menstrual history.
  • Your medical history.
  • Any current medicines you are taking.

This information will be used to assess whether treatment is suitable for you.

Pricing

Norethisterone tablets are available at £1.00 per tablet.

To obtain treatment for jet lag, you will need a consultation with one of our pharmacists. This can be provided as:

  • Travel Health Consultation – £40
  • Period Delay Consultation – £10

Please note that the cost of treatment is not included in the consultation fee and will be charged separately if appropriate.
