Our contract with you

If you buy goods on our site you agree to be legally bound by this contract. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.

We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.

You own a product which is goods once we have received payment in full.

If you do not collect your purchased item from our store within 7 days, a refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied via the same payment method used in the original transaction and will be made within 7 days. If you do not receive your refund, then email

The laws of Northern Ireland will apply to this contract.

Delivery Times

All orders received before 12pm noon will normally be processed and ready for collection after 12pm noon the following day at the MediCare Store at which you placed your Click & Collect order. You will receive an email advising you when your order is ready for collection.


Returns Policy

14-day Returns

MediCare offers a full refund on any item, which is eligible for return as set out below in this Returns Policy, for any reason, up to a maximum of 14 days from the customer’s receipt of goods.

If 14 days have gone by since your purchase and the item is not faulty, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Orders that include perishable goods or where the goods are affected by matters of hygiene cannot be cancelled or returned, unless faulty. Where applicable, please note that fragrance, lotions and all other body products cannot be returned and refunded once the sealed product packaging has been opened. Personal electrical products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Your statutory rights are not affected.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Faulty Items

MediCare will replace any faulty item with the same product/model within the first 30 days from receipt. Goods should be returned as per our Returns Procedure below. Beyond the initial 30-day period from receipt, we will replace or repair any item as per the guidelines set by the manufacturer’s warranty. MediCare will not be liable for any loss suffered to you as a result of any manufacturer's warranty for any product.

Damaged in Delivery

In the unlikely event that an item is damaged upon receipt, please notify us within 7 days from receipt by email at

 In this instance, a replacement will be issued as soon as possible following the return of the damaged item. If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund or exchange will be given. The damaged item should be returned as per our usual Returns Procedure below.

Wrong item received

In the unlikely event that the content of your order you receive is different in any way to the order placed by you, we ask that you notify us at within 7 days from receipt, in order for us to issue a replacement as soon as possible. Should you wish to keep the item you have received incorrectly, we would still ask that you notify us at in order for us to issue any balancing refund/charge accordingly, and to adjust our stock levels.


Returns Procedure

We hope that you never need to return anything to us, however should you need to, we aim to make it as simple as possible for you to exchange or refund your purchase within our 14 day returns policy. All you need to do is take your unwanted or faulty item(s) to the MediCare Store where you purchased and collected your ‘Click & Collect order.

If your item is unwanted and not faulty, please make sure that it is unused and in a sealable condition complete with its original packaging, alongside any promotional items associated to the purchase.

Please remember to bring your receipt, invoice or order reference number to your designated MediCare Store to help speed things up.

We will check the items to confirm they were purchased within the last 14 days.

We can then offer an exchange or issue a refund against the original method of payment.

Please note that items purchased via the ‘Click & Collect System can only be returned to the MediCare Store where the original order was placed.

This is the only means by which a Click & Collect item can be returned to MediCare

The responsibility to return goods lies with the customer.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this guidance.

Limit on our responsibility to you

Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury) or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, we are not legally responsible for any:

  • losses that:
    • were not foreseeable to you and us when the contract was formed. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process;
    • that were not caused by any breach on our part;
  • business losses. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity; and
  • losses to non-consumers.
